For Kyang’a and Beyond. Help Dr. Ngunga run 50km to build a Multipurpose Hall and Dormitories.
Countdown to Corporate Gala (Feb 5, 2026)
Dr. Leonard Ngunga is more than just a runner. He is a leading Cardiologist at the Aga Khan University Hospital, a dedicated Board Chair, and a visionary who believes that education and the arts are the heartbeat of a community.
"I decided to give meaning to this milestone. I’ve run marathons before, but this 50km is personal—it’s for the kids."
Dr. Ngunga is a cardiologist at Aga Khan University Hospital and the Board Chair of St. Paul's Kyang'a.
The Professional: A dedicated husband, father, and career cardiologist serving at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
The Philanthropist: "I have been supporting St. Paul’s Kyang’a Secondary School since its inception in 2011. We saw children loitering in the village due to lack of fees; we knew a local, affordable day school was the solution."
The Goal: "With the new CBC system, the school has been categorized as an Arts School. To meet this potential, we must build a Multipurpose Hall where talent can thrive."
From a humble start with just two students to a designated Center of Excellence for the Arts.
"This milestone is about creating a legacy for the children of Kyang’a. Our vision is to provide a space where their talent can flourish."
